AT WESTON GARDENS
"I’m totally head over heels in love with each and every detail of this wedding, not to mention the beyond adorable couple. From those super cool gray and white stripped ties on the guys, to the simple but elegant white curtain altar, this wedding proves that vintage touches with a modern edge are here to stay."

"Many things can inspire a wedding theme but for this Bride it was the family heirloom ring on her left finger. And from that vintage piece spawned an idea for a gorgeous vintage wedding set against the greenery of Fort Worth. Photographed and filmed by the double threat, The Bird & The Bear, this beauty is awash with the sweetest of details and even a dolled up pup or two."

"With the first real heat wave of the Texas summer passing through, this wedding day was hot-hot-hot! But an intimate sunken garden kept guests in the shade, and Lauren & Trenton partied the night away under trees strung with twinkling lights. A string quartet might have seemed like a traditional choice, but careful listeners noticed that they were actually playing classic rock standards. Little touches like that put this wedding over the top… everyone walked away knowing it was a perfect reflection of the couple we were all there to celebrate!"

"This is such a special family to us! We have had the honor of photographing all three of the weddings for this family! Yes, three sisters…..and we love them all! They had a fabulous wedding at Weston Gardens….which is a really beautiful outdoor location. The guests enjoyed dinner and dancing outdoors in an amazing setting! The decor was beautiful and the floral and accents simply perfect."

"Fall in Texas also means crazy October/November schedules for wedding photographers, signaling the second wedding season of the year. One of my weddings this past weekend was held at Weston Gardens in Fort Worth, Texas. A beautiful outdoor venue that matched perfectly with the fall weather, this wedding was easily one of my favorites so far this fall. The golden colors alone were enough to make me one happy photographer."

"Michelle and Johnny are both teachers at the same school. One day, at a track meet, it started pouring rain. They ran for cover to Johnny’s truck and talked for hours…it’s been love ever since! Their wedding was was held at the Weston Gardens in Forth Worth, Texas. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Old stone and brick with lush greenery make this an awesome venue for a hidden garden wedding. The guys get ready on a stone ship while the bride gets ready in a room with oak walls! Absolutely amazing."
"We love seeing the special days of actual wedding photographers — these are couples who have seen it all, and know exactly what works and what won’t. Luiz and Lo are two such wedding photographers who threw an amazing day to remember, thanks to the images of Jess Barfield. Take note of the incredible altar backdrop, put together by the bride herself!"
"A naked cake adorned with real flowers, a lush bouquet tied with a raw silk ribbon, a delicate wedding dress with gorgeous back detailing — it’s just got it all. Jessica Gold Photography, Jen Rios Weddings, and R Love Floral Designs did some truly beautiful work here!"
"The bride’s grandfather, who was also the officiant for the ceremony, said that he prayed hard that the weather would cool down for the gorgeous Weston Garden wedding. The weather sure did cool down that weekend, but in spite of the chilly temperatures, rain was avoided and there was still plenty of dancing at the reception."

"Zach and Jayne were my last wedding to shoot last year and it was a beautiful way to close out the year. I met Jayne (with a “y”) several years ago when she interned for me and coincidentally introduced me to the loveliness that is Jillian Edwards music. I was honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding day, it’s always particularly sweet when someone who is a friend AND an artist themselves chooses you to be the one to document their big day. Their wedding day was unique and personal, from their choice to keep things simple and not have a wedding party stand up with them to the letters and gifts they exchanged during their first look."

"Liz and Jonathan united in marriage on October 4th. They did a first look and Liz wanted it to be slightly different. She chose to take the picture where the door divides them, but then they peeked over the door to see one another. After that they took a few bride and groom portraits and then wedding party photos before the ceremony. They had a beautiful outdoor garden wedding ceremony and reception. They did something a little different during the ceremony. Instead of the unity candle or sand they chose to plant a tree together. Their first dance was in the patio area as the sun was setting and then later in the evening all the guests danced under cafe lights. Their wedding rings were custom made by one of Liz’s sister’s and so were the toasting goblets. It’s cool that they have many artists in her family and each contributed their own personal touch to her wedding day."

"I felt like cheering at my desk while reading Stephanie and Ray’s interview! From the way they carefully wrote their vows to the reason they chose their romantic garden venue, it’s so clear that they approached their wedding with so much thoughtfulness and attentiveness to what truly matters. Our talented Blue Ribbon Vendor, Stefanie Miles, helped them pull together so many beautiful details that reflected their personal styles and love story, but most importantly, her presence let them stay focused on what they really cared about: their marriage and loved ones. I’m sure I’m not the only one wishing I could’ve been a guest at this lovely celebration!"
"Britainy’s vision for their wedding was a simple, outdoor, morning celebration. Both her and Ryan really wanted their wedding to be an expression of the love we have for each other and for Christ, and didn’t want anything else to get in the way. It was also an “upside down” wedding with their breakfast “reception” first and ceremony second."

"When I met with Laura the first time, she told me that more than anything else, her family is important. She had a giant loving family, and wanted them all to have a great time and be a part of their special day. Laura and Brian have been together for years, and there wedding at Weston Gardens in Fort Worth couldn't have been any sweeter."

"Everyone laughed so hard, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some tears shed. When the reception rolled around, every guest was enjoying the details throughout, the mariachi band, the photo booth, and spending time with loved ones. It seemed like everyone there was friends, and if they weren't, the became friends right away. I could go on and on about how much I loved this wedding, but I will let the amount of photos I'm about to post speak for themselves."
